A life story of the eighth chess champion Mikhail Tal
Mikhail Tal was already the champion of the country, but he continued to teach Literature lessons at school. One day Mikhail Tal came in a class and discovered a chessboard near a window. Tal understood that the white announces a checkmate in four moves. But Mikhail Tal kept silent and began to tell about extra people. But when he looked at the chessboard again, he understood that he is an extra person for children. Children continued to play chess. But if the white saw this checkmate and finished the game, Mikhail Tal would forgive the disciplinarians because he thought that chess is so important for everybody. But the white lost a game. Tal couldn't let this go unpunished so he required students' school journals. But then he decided to forgive children and have a discussion with them. The disciplinarians were happy that this situation ended well, but the white knew who Tal is and asked him to put an autograph in his school journal. It was the first time when Tal made a strict note: 'Didn't find a checkmate at the Literature lesson'.
