I just finished a game against a regular opponent of mine, s22s.
Although pleased with the position early on, I sank back into a position where my pieces were doing very little and I had no room.
I'm ahead in development but my pieces aren't really doing much, my opponent's rook is nicely lined up on my queen and there's no way I can see to usefully move my pieces around. I need a break.
Happily, I found one and it led to good things:
My opponent slipped up a few times in those last few moves but that often happens when you put someone under pressure.
I'm really pleased with how I finished this game. I saw a vulnerable king and was willing to (potentially) give up a knight to go hunting for it.
Thanks for reading!
