Pawn a chess piece of the smallest size and value, it moves one square forwards along its file if unobstructed (or two on the first move), or one square diagonally forwards when making a capture. When the game starts, generally, the pawns are moved first. Pawns are usually the first to be sacrificed. Why? Well, the answer is simple as a minor piece, they are only worth one point.

Novice players toss them out like Q-tips because they believe that you cant win the game with a pawn. But, that is not true.

As small as they are Pawns are the soul of chess Sometimes a Pawn is enough to change the game, and those that ignore the importance of it are liable to lose their Queen.

What stops most people from achieving their dreams, Owning a business, generally, it is the small things. We are afraid to take the chance. We don't have enough money to push anything forward. Start with the small you have, we are trying to move the Bishop, or the Queen, or the King without first allowing the pawns to clear a path for them to operate.   

There are small steps of Pawn that need to happen before you can put larger pieces in position. Things that must take place before you can land a business loan or establish a business. The first step is to identify the pawns. These are the things that are either free or cost very little to start. Remember, pawns are worth one point but they are the keys to setting up your game, and life, for success.

Small decisions, small steps, small gestures. Small kindnesses. They aren’t small. Great things depend on little ones.
