Hi to those who might read this. Have decided to blog my chess experiences both online and OTB, mostly for the entertainment of the reader and also to get it all off my chest!

Yesterday I have confirmed my own suspicions in that I am BLUNDERMAN, no fake, the real deal Blunder expert. If there were GM norms in blundering I'd have one!

Over the course of 15 games now at the club i've scored 2 draws and no wins...many a good position lost with either a time trouble blunder or a blunder just cos I can! The worst one being material up against a 2000+ rated player (i'm around 1500elo) whom was on the verge of giving up, when I offered him a piece for nothing, generous I know, but in the shock of what I'd just done, I then followed up by leaving her majesty en prise......

I feel like Father Christmas at an orphanage all year round and my only saviour is Chess.com and the ability to spend 3 days on and off looking at the position...I'm gradually coming to the conclusion that i just cant play OTB?

Anyway, the annual Inter Insular with our neighbouring Island of Guernsey is coming up at the end of the month, I'm surely saving my best until last....best what i'm not sure....
