Hello everyone and welcome to another Runinja Post! In todays blog I will talk about some book draws! One of the game is mine against an NM where I got 98.8 accuracy and the opponent got 99.5!

Without wasting more time (further ado) let's jump right into it!

1. The Berlin Draw

The very well known Berlin draw has a reputation of being used in the strongest chess tournaments in the world by super GMs. This draw occurs from the Ruy Lopez and of course the Berlin Defense. The moves to get to the draw are: 1 .e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 Nf6 4.0-0 Nxe4 5. d4 Nd6 6. dxe5! Nxb5 7. a4 Nbd4 8. Nxd4 Nxd4 9. Qxd4 d5! 10. exd6 Qxd6 11. Qe4+ Qe6 12. Qd4 Qe6 and White keeps on repeating the checks.

2.     King's Indian Defense: Four Pawns Attack/ Benoni Defense: Modern, Pawn Storm, Four Pawns Attack

This line was the line I played against the NM which was theory up till move 16 for White. (Yes, I did prep that line happy.png

Wow! It turned out I thought that I would play my opponent as Black, but I was White. I had prepped only one line as White and it was this one! Yay! Note: This exact line may not happen: On move 16 black played Rxe5 which on lichess.org ends the games in Master's Database. However going to the lichess players' database until move 20 there are 2 games (where I played the brilliant Bh6!! the other players went Rb1 and ended up drawing or losing happy.png)

However if we take this and put it on chessbase we see 5 games at move 18 of White!

According to Chessbase's calculations:

This blog was really short, but I hoped you enjoyed!
