The Sicilian DEFENSE

Ah. The Sicilian Defense. Probably one of the most popular openings ever.

The main line is e4, then c5, to take control of d4 right away.

After c5, white would play Nf3 and black has many options to play.

You have, Nc6, d6,e6, and g6.

I analyzed the Sicilian with the computer and it says d6 is the best.

After d6, white would bring the bishop to b5 for a check. Black would block with the bishop.

Then, bishop takes bishop check and black takes with the knight.

Another way of the Sicilian is going Nc6.

Then white plays d4 and black takes the pawn with the pawn and white takes the pawn with the knight and black’s knight takes the knight and then white’s queen then takes the knight.
