Chess.com Awards
There are 616 Awards and they are something you earn while playing chess.com which is found in the sidebar when hovering on the Chess.com Logo on the Top Left Corner and contains the following:
Achievements:
There are 136 achievements and they are earned by playing, searching or even learning! Some achievements are seasonal, hidden or needs premium. Variants like Chess960, King of the Hill or Puzzles has achievements that are numerical which means it can be ordered by Elo or how much you played. It it very hard to get all of them because it takes a LOT of time!
Medals:
There are 3 types of medals, 1st Place, 2nd place, and 3rd Place. They are earned in Tournaments and you can get variants too like Chess960, King of the Hill or 3 Check and the medals are stackable with the variants you have played in and the hosts you joined.
Badges:
There are 84 badges and they are earned by the opponent you were playing within the game to give it to you so be nice with them if you want it! To give badges, go to Archive which is in the sidebar by hovering Play in the Top Left, click the player you want to give it to, click info, then click send award!
Cheers:
Cheers are like Badges and there are 110 of them, 108 of them is sendable and 2 is earned. To send cheers, go to the player's profile, click more, then click Awards! The 2 cheers that is earned is called "Successful Referral!" and "Welcome to Chess.com!" and they are both a cheer that motivates a person to join Chess.com.
Passport:
There are 241 places like countries and states you can challenge a player in while playing. You can see where they live next to their profile. This isn't earned by knowledge, convincing or skill but is earned by luck. You can earn an achievement if you played with 10 people in different places!
Books:
Books are like Passport but instead of places, it's openings and there are only 33 of them that is available. To get it, you need to play the book move/opening that is in the awards. Your opponent has to do the same moves as the opening or else it won't work!
