Play the solid Philidor Defense

Hello Everyone. Today we are going to discuss about the Philidor defense.

This has been played a lot by Russian GM Danil Dubov. Lets start.

White starts with 1.e4, we respond with 1.e5 and white plays 2.Nf3, then we respond with d6.

                                                    Now lets look at another variation.
