Welcome to the ultimate guide to secret achievements on Chess.com!

Most players know the standard ones – like winning your first game or reaching 1000 rating – but there are also hidden achievements that aren’t listed anywhere on your profile until you unlock them.

Some are fun, some are really challenging, and some are just plain weird. Here’s a complete list of every known hidden achievement and how to earn it!

---

1. Juggler

Description: Play 20 Daily games at the same time.

How to get it: Start 20 correspondence games (Daily Games) simultaneously. You can join tournaments or challenge multiple friends.

---

2. Chess Marathon

Description: Play a game that lasts over 100 moves.

How to get it: Play a very long Live game. Bullet and Blitz won’t work – try Rapid or Daily games where long endgames are possible.

---

3. Nick of Time

Description: Win a game with less than 1 second left on your clock.

How to get it: Win a Bullet or Blitz game just before time runs out. Not easy – but very satisfying!

---

4. Full House

Description: Win a game without losing a single piece (including pawns).

How to get it: Try this against a much lower-rated player or a friend in an unrated game. Not losing a single unit is harder than it sounds!

---

5. Castle Victory

Description: Checkmate your opponent with castling.

How to get it: Set up a position where kingside or queenside castling delivers checkmate. Rare – but possible!

---

6. Killer King

Description: Deliver checkmate by moving your king and triggering a discovered check.

How to get it: Set up a discovered checkmate where the king steps out of the way. Extremely niche and impressive!

---

7. Full Day

Description: Spend a total of 24 hours solving puzzles (not necessarily in one session).

How to get it: Just keep solving puzzles daily. Once your total time hits 24 hours, you’ll unlock this badge.

---

8. Good Habit

Description: Solve puzzles for 7 days in a row.

How to get it: Solve at least one puzzle per day for a full week. Easy if you stay consistent.

---

9. Searching for Bobby Fischer

Description: Search for Bobby Fischer in the Master Games database.

How to get it: https://www.chess.com/games/bobby-fischer

---

10. Man vs Machine

Description: Play a Live game against a bot.

Note: This achievement is currently retired because bots can no longer play Live games. If you earned it in the past, it still shows.

---

11. Nutcracker

Description: Defeat the holiday bot "Eve the Elf."

How to get it: Play and beat this bot during the Christmas season.

---

12. Full Stocking

Description: Defeat the holiday bot "Santa."

How to get it: This seasonal bot appears in December. Beat him to earn the badge.

---

13. Precious Snowflake

Description: Defeat the bot "Powder the Snowman."

How to get it: Another holiday bot – usually available around Christmas.

---

14. Quick Knockout

Description: Win a game in 10 moves or fewer.

How to get it: Deliver a quick checkmate (like the Fool’s Mate or Scholar’s Mate) against an opponent. Can also happen if they resign early.

---

15. Pen Pal

Description: Finish a Daily game against someone from a different country.

How to get it: Join a Daily tournament or challenge an international player.

---

16. Good Read

Description: Read a Chess.com article completely.

How to get it: Open any article on Chess.com and scroll all the way to the bottom.

---
