Chess is FUN. Not just as a mental roller coaster but it gets people excited physically too. Recently, i had the opportunity to play an interschool tournament; my first. It was 5 rounds of pure adrenaline, victory with just 2 seconds of time left? HAD ME JUMPING OUT MY SEAT!! Blundering my queen? Made me sink in my seat trying so hard to not give it away just hoping that my opponent misses. Though i was nowhere close to the top, it is still one of THE best experiences i have had with chess.

If you are reading this you SHOULD try an irl chess tournament because it is a mix of all emotions being thrown at you at once and it is extremely fun.
