my first smith-morra

                                          

 a friend of mine is fond of the smith-morra and i had only been on the black side of this opening, so  when black played 1. ... c5  in this game i took the plunge and played 2. d4!   i'll admit i  didn't have a clue to play this opening, so if anyone has any pointers  on things i could have done better, please let me know.
