Magnus Carlsen- his rise into supremacy

Magnus carlsen is a norwegian chess grandmaster with a highest rating of 2882. he is the current world chess championship since 2013. his journey is a remarkable because of his unwavering determination, courage etc. now we'll see his early life.

Magnus carlsen was born in november 30 1990 in tonsberg norway. he showed an interest in puzzles and games. his parents introduced him to chess at the age of 5 years. At the age of eight he was competing and winning local chess tournaments. now we'll talk about his rise of fame.

In 2004 at the age of 13 he became a grandmaster winning the record of the youngest chess grandmaster. he continued to impress the chess world with his exeptional talent. in 2010 carlsen won the wijk-aan-zee tournament which he would go on winning 5 more times. however it was in 2013 when carlsen truly cemented hi place in chess history. he faced off the reigning world chess champion, Vishwanath Anand,in chennai,india and he emerged victorious becoming the new chess champion. he is also a aster on chess rapids and blitzs.
