FIDE master gives simultaneous game to 11 players!

I played for the first time in a simultaneous chess game performed by FIDE master. I learned from one player who turned out to be a certified referee along the way that there will be a game in a few days! Immediately went to bookstore internet site of and registered!

Thursday night. A separate room was allocated for the games. This room is mainly for writers who meet with their readers. S. noticed me and called out in a quiet bookstore. Everyone turned around, including security guard. It was funny a little bit.

There were 14 chess tables. FIDE Master was a pretty girl of about 20 years old. She will destroy almost everyone in next 2 hours.

So, we started. According to the laws of the genre, Master plays all games with white. Any opponent must make the move when the sessioner approaches the table; the participant cannot delay the sessioner with his thoughts. That is, there is more time to play when there are more participants in the session. Otherwise, one hung up participant can heavily slow down whole game process.

Maestro played three openings - the Reti Opening, the Spanish Party, the London System. I had a hope that I would have a Spanish game, which I learned a little bit. But I was still lucky! The London system was against me. I had a very vague knowledge of Reti's debut.

On the way back, I restored whole played game in the phone. It turned out that the game was played quite well by me!
