GM loses to 1400 in Chess.com Chess960 Championship
GM Grigoriy Oparin lost an unfortunate game by sacrificing the rook (with 0 compensation) to @SDCsamSWT in the qualifier for the Chess960 Championship yesterday and promptly resigned. With day 3 of the Chess960 Championship coming up and more thrilling games in wait, let's take a look at the Qualifier 3 & 4 results.
GM Raunak Sadhwani @champ2005 reached the finals by edging out the field with just half a tiebreak point over GM Andrew Tang and stopped 60 other tilted players including GM Fabiano Caruana and GM Levon Aronian from qualifying 🤯 Qualifier 3 had a total of 426 players!

Fabi and 39 other titled players would go on to play in the later qualifier...
Qualifier 4 saw GM Christopher Yoo @ChristopherYoo take first over GM Andrew Hong (1606 Chess960 rating is comedy) and GM Kayden Troff who kept his third place streak going. Fabi also kept his 6th place streak, losing to first and second place
