New Oxford Team Demos #2

Nov 12, 2010, 3:02 PM |

Hey everyone!  For all of you who may be reading/viewing this, this blog post is meant as a demonstration for the New Oxford Chess team.  It will be updated periodically until I have all the stuff added that I will need to present it to the other players. If you see any mistakes, please tell me!

Here are some examples of castling.

Note:  There are three instances in a game when you may not castle.

1) You cannot castle if you have moved your king, or you have moved the rook on the side you want to castle.

2) You cannot castle if your king is in check.

3) You cannot castle if your king will be moving through check as he castles.

Now for Scholars mate (and how to refute it).
Now here is one way to refute it if you are black.
