I'm here with you to talk about piracy. For those that don't know, piracy is the act of copying and distributing the copies content illegally. This happens mostly with video games developers, with people stealing their work. To combat this, they come with anti-piracy screens to tell the player that they version they are playing is a pirates version and should be reported. Pirating a game can land you will a $100,000 fine and 1 year in prison. Thr anti-piracy screens are scary because they try to scare you to not buy another pirated game. The way they do it is by using dark images, scary ambience, distressed characters, etc to make it scary, or at the very least unsettling. They use distressed characters to convey a feeling like the consequences of their actions are coming to get them. It's common to see piracy screens to have a black background with red text to add to the unsettling feeling. It would look kind like the image below
