Training Update
I did manage to get some training done tonight.
I finished the pawn ending section for class C in Silman's Complete Endgame Course.
I did a few problems in the tactics trainer.
I finished playing through the games from Morphy's match with Lowenthal in Beim's Paul Morphy: A Modern Perspective.
I also played through the first game in McDonald's instructive game collection, Chess: the art of logical thinking. The game was Karpov - Korchnoi, Baguio City, 1978. A crushing move by Karpov on move 26, brings a quick conclusion to the battle. The book is in a format similar to Chernev's Logical Chess or Nunn's Understanding Chess, where each move is annotated. Perfect for learning.
