Weekend Training Update
Did a little tactics trainer each day, but probably only 10-15 minutes worth each day.
I spent a fair amount of time Saturday starting to read Rowson's Seven Deadly Chess Sins for entertainment as well as education. It looks like it is going to be a great book. I continued to read more of it on Sunday as well.
I finished the section on space in Amateur's Mind, and have moved well into the section on pawn structure.
Not an overly productive weekend as far as my chess training goes, but I still accomplished something so it wasn't a waste. I need to work on making more efficient use of my time. That is something that is highlighted in some of the articles on chess instruction in The Chess Instructor 2009 . I think the articles in here can benefit people looking to improve on their own, as well as people who teach chess.
It looks like I could have a lot of greeter games flag tomorrow, as it seems no one has shown up since the first couple of moves.
Oh well, back to reading some more of Rowson before I go to bed.
