The Battle: De Labourdonnais vs McDonnell 1834

I started to study old days chess matches as I was adviced by my coach the other day. While I was watching a few games of the De De Labourdonnais vs McDonnell battle in 1834 I was fascinated how colourful  and interesting ideas they played in every single match.
I decided to start a blog here and post some really nice and interesting positions and puzzles maybe to find out if you can spot a great move. Hope you have fun and learn something from it.
Here is our first position which is just lovely on its own.
How to win a lost looking position?
Black is down a whole rook but he has a strong attack here. Can you find it?
