LVCA - 2nd Annual Lehigh Valley Invitational - Premier Section

On November 23, 2013, the 2nd Annual Lehigh Valley Invitational was completed.
Competing were 6 National masters including (2) - 2 time PA State Champions (FM Karl Dehmelt and FM Rodion Rubenchik) and the current and 3 time PA State Champion (NM Peter Minear).
This year's Winner of the Premier Section was for the second year in a row, Lehigh Valley's Chess Club's patron and supporter FM Karl Dehmelt. Congratulations Karl on another fine performance and we wish you success in this event in the years to come.
There were two sections with 8 players each. This is a report on the Premier Section players and their games as submitted for consideration for the best game prize. We were not concerned with prejudging these games ahead of time as submitted over the 4 weekends these games were played from Sept 14th - Nov 23rd. We hope you will enjoy the games even if your choice would be different than the game selected as there may be different reasons or close competition for the "Best Game" selection. Please remember these games were played under G/75;d5 time controls and some players were under extreme time pressures in completing some moves in the games. So Enjoy the Action as played!
