A Very Odd Game..
Good morning, afternoon, and evening everyone!
This is a little game that I played which got me up past 300 ELO : )!
Now, keep in mind that I didn't want to show the whole game as it definitely wasn't my best but I still managed to pull it off and get the win in the end.
I have no idea how this person ended up losing this game as they had taken my Queen out only in a few moves into the game and then we continued to trade our pieces. Which led to this sticky situation. Now you can see, I can't take his Queen with my Knight as it's pinned to the Queen by the Rook I was also in check by the Queen so I had to move to c2.
So, that's exactly what I decided to do. Now, in doing so I knew that I had my Rook hanging and I figured if they take that it's game over, but no. They ignored my Rook AND..
They sacrificed the ROOO- THE ROOK?! WHAT FOR? Well, I have absolutely ZERO idea as to why they did that. My Rook was still hanging when I realized, they were going for a mate in one by going to d1? If only they would've set it up a little better they would've gotten the win? So, naturally I took the free Rook, thinking they were going for a Rook trade? But no..
They played King f2. I saw this blunder and thought, no way, you've got to be joking me. But then I realized, oh wait, it's 300 Elo and people make these types of mistakes. So, that left me with taking their Queen and them resigning like an absolute bozo.

Keep in mind I had my second Rook just sitting there but I didn't want to threaten to take the Queen even though he might have taken one of my Rooks and still letting me take their Queen But I wasn't going to take that chance.

Anyways thank you for reading this surprisingly weird game...!
