There are various opinions but there is one and only one very direct answer. Carlsen. But why? Some of you may disagree. It is simply because if you look at Bobby Fischer's Games, he always plays sacrifices and fancy moves to win. But in terms of chess foundation, Carlsen is much better than Fischer because all Carlsen has to do is VERY simple. In his games, he just simplifies and ends up winning the endgame. He doesn't need fancy moves to win. Overall, in terms of foundation, Carlsen is better than Fischer. What do you think?
