Qwerty likes all kinds of games, but admits he really likes playing on ChessKid because of the Daily Star Challenge, the fun trophies his friends send him and the funny voices that FunMasterMike makes in his videos.

ReBoot is a playful bot who loves silly jokes and cartoons. She is still a beginning chess player & only learned how to play chess from her robot family not too long ago, so she doesn’t take the game too seriously. However, she is pretty dedicated when it comes to logging on to her ChessKid account. You’ll find her here every day - even if it is just for another chance to solve the Daily Puzzle. She just wants to play games and have fun!

SafeMode is eager to play chess and never turns down a game challenge! Like many inexperienced players, he knows how the pieces move but is still working on his tactics - so try some sneaky moves against him...shhhhh! SafeMode is a multi-talented robot who likes sports and things that roll really fast. When he is not playing chess, you will find him watching race cars and uni-rollerblading all over town!

KiloByte is always happy when challenged to a game & would love to play chess with you! Her favorite subjects are mathematics & geography and she jumps at the chance to play any strategy game, so chess is an obvious hobby for her. In fact, she likes playing chess so much, she just joined the chess club at her school - but don’t worry, she always has time for a game with you too!

HyperLink has officially caught the chess-playing “bug.” He used to play other fun board games like Battleship and checkers, but now he doesn’t want to play any game other than chess. It’s his favorite pastime! He’s already challenged all of his friends to games, all of his robot family to games, all of his classmates to games, and all of the other ChessKid bots to games - so now he’s looking for somebody new to play! OverRide eats pawns for breakfast, lunch & dinner! She claims to have solved thousands of ChessKid Puzzles (and we believe her!). She goes to “off-mode” every night thinking about her next chess moves and wakes up every morning ready to play. She plays like a chess machine. Wait...she IS a chess machine!

QuadCore picked up chess as a hobby very quickly and has been playing for several years now. He is really happy to have the chance to play on ChessKid because no one else in his robot family plays chess; they are all too busy doing their everyday robot jobs like backing up data, routing airplanes in flight and processing online shopping orders. QuadCore thinks that chess is a rewarding hobby and hopes that it will look good on his university application one day!

FireWall is one of the most well-rounded chess robots on ChessKid. She’s a natural competitor and loves any activity where she gets to test her talents one-on-one against her opponent. In addition to being a chess whiz, she is a martial arts and boxing expert (check out those tough red gloves)! One of her strongest skills is that she always plays to the very end...she never gives up!
