Have you ever played this?

I'll be showing you how to make and break the Four Knights Game, Italian Variation

Italian Variation:

I just love this opening.

The Italian Variation attacks the f-pawn. They might do the Giuoco Piano Game, which is to copy your move.

The best move here would be Ng5 threatening a queen-rook fork.

Now of course Black won't really care.
d5 removes the double-threat on the f-pawn.

They will most likely take the pawn.

Cause it's a free pawn. A potential queen that almost always gets taken at least 4 times in a game.

So then, as the diagram shows above, the next move is send the knight towards the center, trapping a pawn.

The next moves might be a trade.

Then white will probably retreat and attack the bishop.

So this is like almost 10 moves in so i guess this blog is over thanks for reading and have a nice day!
