Immingham Chess Club

Just an update on the club.  We are still going with a handful of players but all are welcome to swell the numbers!  We are now learning to play by the clock which is new to most of us.  We're hoping to build our skills so we can take on challenges from other clubs in the area.  We meet every Thursday at the Resources Centre in Immingham.  A small fee of £1-50 is paid to cover the cost of a cuppa and a biscuit, so if anyone out there is interested we'd be pleased to welcome you.  The standard of the club is varied so don't think we're all experts, we're not we play for the fun of it and to learn about this wonderful games called chess.  Do come along if you can and see for yourself.  Well that's it for now.
