Hi Fellow Chess Fans!

Hi!  My name is Ed. I am chess enthusiast like you!  I started playing when my uncle introduced me at the age of 6. I got hooked into chess because  I found it very mentally challenging. I got so involved that I asked my mother to buy chess books for me. However, I did received formal trainings in Chess and that hampered my growth. I taught myself how to read chess annotations without assistance but I find hard to master since I never had the luxury of having a chess mentor.

I played chess only in school tournaments until college. After graduating college, I played sparingly because I had to attend to my profession. I only played chess online to satisfy my cravings.

Anyways, I am here because I just want to keep myself updated with the news related to chess. 

Anyway, I am afraid I can't play chess with you here as much as I want because I have to focus in what keeps me busy these days. I am actually into blogging right now.
