The Billionaire Bots!!! $$$
Hey everyone! All that chess.com wants to do is to give more bots to all the users to test their strengths!!
First moms and zombies, and now billionaires?? Can you just believe it?! Now we will see if these billionaires can beat us in chess. First, it is increased by 400, 200, and then 100. These billionaire bots are perfect to test the strength of beginners... (like me lol)
Barron Wuffet
A close friend of Gill Bates, Mr. Wuffet is not as strong of a player as his friend. However, give him the right pawns, and he sure will turn them into powerful queens.
Well, the first bot is Barron Wuffet. It is Warren Buffet. You will see a lot of mixing up of letters in most of these bots. This is the first billionaire you need to defeat to beat the others. He only plays against Gill it seems and he doesn't want to play against anyone else. He has made it pretty clear that he is overconfident and thinks that you are going to lose.
You can see in the game below that at the beginning he plays solid openings and he knows what he is doing. When it comes to the middle and endgame he tends to focus on pushing his pawns and not caring about his pieces. I think his favorite piece is the pawn...
On to the next one!!
Biff Jezos
No one has more chess books than Biff. He’s rich, has been to space, and is primed and ready for a game.
This billionaire loves to win. He thinks of you as a complete loser. He says that he can defeat me in just 2 days without fail. All this guy cares about is him winning and you losing. He might have good openings and might know what to do in the middle of the game but he is not ready to fight me.
His openings and middle game were pretty good. I did 4 blunders in this game, as I did a weird queen sacrifice and forks. When it came to the endgame, he did a terrible job. He forgot that his queen was there and moved his rook. Which ended up with me winning. He needs to be more efficient in his endgames.
Does no one have more chess books than Biff?? He probably doesn't have books on chess endgames.
Zark Muckerberg
A controversial chess player, Zark uses his popular website Bookface to spy on other players’ prep. Can you escape Zark’s algorithm and win?
Well, before even playing the game we can say that Zark is pretty good at spying and copying all the good moves that will suit the situation in the game. Does this billionaire think he can spy and copy the moves?? Well, that doesn't work for me. Use your brain!!
As you can see in the game below. His openings are really weird. He started with d4 and then did g4, giving a free pawn. He could have just gone for the simple opening, Queen's Gambit. He likes to experiment is what I can see. Then for some moments, I think he forgot that he has to recapture pieces. I think he thought he was playing giveaway. Then by the time it came to end, his position was all open so it became easier for me to get my pieces out and checkmate.
His "algorithm" didn't make any sense and was pretty useless in the game.
Melon Husk
If they can send a car to space, they can send a melon…
On to the 4th billionaire already??? This man wants to make the impossible, possible. So if it is impossible to beat me, he is going to make it possible. Well, it is not going to be easy defeating me! Let's see what you got!!
His openings were pretty good. I realized he likes to push his pawns forward and keep a very open position where the pieces are not that developed. He likes to attack the opponent more and keep all of his pieces together. He doesn't want to stop the attack I am giving a few moves before. He stops the attack when it is about to happen as you can see in the end.
I don't think a car has been sent into space so a melon can't by the way. (Just proving their statements wrong lol)
Gill Bates
After popularizing the cersonal pomputer, he lost a game on TV to Cagnus Marlsen in just 9 moves. Can you beat him too? (They mixed the letters everywhere : D)
The last billionaire, Gill Bates. This guy may be smart but he is not too smart to beat such people as "Cagnus Marlsen". So he can be smart to beat me but not people above 1500. It might be pretty easy to beat me, but I will try to give a good fight!
He is pretty good at tactics and likes to play offense all the time. He rarely likes to play defense. I think he has been doing a lot of puzzles at home ; ). He is very greedy.. (in the sense he likes to take all of your pieces!). When you try to use a tactic on him, he knows how to stop it. So you shouldn't really use tactics on him, he knows every one of them!!
Lost to Marlsen in 9 moves!! I can't beat him : (.
Why? Why? Why? The billionaires might be very rich and have their own businesses but chess is just not their cup of tea. Did you play these bots yet? If so, share what happened in the comments section... Hope you enjoyed it!!
