Achievement unlock

After 2 months, i finally achieve rapid 1800. This is what i discovered. Most rapid rated 1700+ players are about 1400/1500 blitz rated about the same as me (but surprisingly i can also easily win against 1600+ blitz rated). In rapid, we can think longer and able to checkmate the opponents. In blitz, because of the time pressure, it is hard to find the way to checkmate. Anyway, puzzle rush can help to solve this problem.

Just to record my success, all this while i was playing the same openings. Not knowing, the openings were not good for me in terms of the opening concept and my style of playing. A few days ago, i learned about Catalan opening. It wasn't on purpose actually. I was trying to unlock the achievement in chess.com book. As i was trying to get the opening right, it transpose into something else such as English and Reti opening lol. So i beginning to browse this Catalan Opening in the youtube. I found out that it doesn't matter what it transpose as the main idea in Catalan is that u control the Bishop g2-a8 line. That's enough to guide me. Oh ya, just to mention the hustler in this opening is Vladimir Kramnik. 

Now that i achieved rapid 1800, perhaps the next target is getting my blitz to 1600. All the best to me. Thank you for reading
