Hello everyone in this blog I am going to tell you about endgame principles

1.Centralization of the king- Centralize your kings as soon as the endgame begins king plays an active role in the endgame at times an active king can also be like a rook!

Here is an example

2. Try to control the key squares-A key square (also known as a critical square) is a square such that if a player's king can occupy it, he can force some gain such as the promotion of a pawn or the capture of an opponent's pawn.

You would get a clear idea after seeing this position

By looking at the upper diagram  i have given a position below  for your clarity to understand this   puzzle kindly see my annotations to the upper position to get a clear idea

3. Try to gain opposition-Try to gain opposition in the king pawn endgame if you get it you win the game

Opposition means two kings facing face each other, with a difference of a square only for example

In this example, we saw how to take opposition and win the game
In  this position, we are going to learn how to grab the opposition from the pressured side and equalize the game
By looking at the 1st diagram of  opposition you can get a clear idea about this position and solve this one happy.png

4. When a pawn or material up exchange the pieces to gain advantage and covert into a winning endgame

you can get an idea of this position from the topic when a pawn or material up an exchange as much as you can the same you have to do here and win the game!

5. Rook pawns give a tough time to knights!
By the concept that knights have a tough time defending rook pawns here is a puzzle for you!
Hope you liked the concept
6. Try to create passed pawns as they can make you win the game try to make them on the opposite side of the opponent king
hope you liked this example down there is a puzzle for you!
hope you liked the blog it has taken a lot of work for you guys , regards
