grandmasters have a deep understanding of chess.

This means that they can uncork great moves instead of playing the natural or standard moves.

What do I mean by that ? Let me put you to the test. 5 positions, and try find the move a grandmaster is most likely to play.

Position 1: Black to play. The bishop is attacked. What is the best move here ?

Position 2: Black to play a strong move!

Position 3: White to play for a decisive advantage

Position 4: Is there a GM move available ? White to play

Position 5: Very sharp game. White just played Nb5. Black to play, What would you do ?

I suspect we have readers who are very good at tactics, or can demonstrate GM level.

Feel free to post your solutions 1 to 5.

If you are stuck on a given position, leave your questions in the comments section and I will try to answer, or hopefully someone will suggest the right path. If you cannot wait for the answer, Stockfish13 should be able to assist, but that's if everything else failed !
