Good when given a second chance... (club game 10/29/16)

Good evening everyone,

In between work and watching my Indians go up 2-1 in the World Series, I've been taking some time watching some videos about middlegame planning and reading The Amateur's Mind by Jeremy Silman. Most of what I've been focusing on is developing a plan after the opening has run its course, and sticking to that plan instead of simply reacting to my opponent's threats.

Despite going 1-2 today at my local club, I would like to share a game where I was able to apply some of what I've learned over the past few weeks. In actuality, I made a huge blunder on move 32 as a result of losing focus, but my opponent allowed a take-back after I lost the game. I'll point that out in my analysis:

I hope that you enjoyed this game! Please leave feedback and/or comments on my analysis if you see a flaw in my thought process (I know there are many).

Go Tribe!

John
