How to play brilliant moves?
Hi!
Before starting to give you tips, I want to say that this blog is dedicated to Brilliant Chess League, and also it is given out for BCL's 600 member celebration! Please join it, you will make us happy and won't regret it!
How to play them?
So, brilliant moves are very hard to find, but they are the best moves! Mostly, are brilliant moves saqrifices. Saqrifices, aren't just giving away pieces. Saqrifices need to bring you advance!
I have saqrificed queen, rook and knight so far. Also, I have made 2 more brilliant moves, what aren't saqrifices! Take a look! Saqrifices can be done in every stage of the game, but they work only when you are treatening to checkmate. Saqrifices also work when you may be down on material, but it'll weaken opponents position.
If you think you don't know when to make saqrifices, then its actually easier than you thought! For beginners, I want to recommend saqrifices in rapid or blitz if you have increment, because (especially for beginners) is better when you analyze before you do the saqrifice. They are just quite risky and if you haven't planned it much it can more make your position bad than give you winning position.
Anyway, when you see a piece is disturbing you, it's very powerful or is blocking the checkmate, I recommend you to do a saqrifice, so it may save your game!
I hope it helped you, thank you for reading!
