game four of five in a row!
I was wondering if fatigue would set in by now but made sure I was in a positive frame of mind which is very important and was in the mood for a tough fight (as always, honest!). Corby bought a good team along but we managed to win the match 3.5-1.5 as we were fielding probably our strongest "B" team side. Yours truly on board 2 this time.
Here's the game which was quite positional and I felt I had the worse of it after the opening. This sort of game always makes me think I should perhaps mix my openings up a bit more and start playing more mainstream lines which give counterplay as black. You decide! Oh, and there's a neat endgame to this one as well - once the plan of allowing myself doubled pawns became a reality I felt I was standing better.
