Game Of The Year - Praggnanandhaa vs Rapport
Hello and welcome to my new chess blog!
Today we are going to look at an absolute banger of a game, played by Richard Rapport. There have been many beautiful games played in the year 2025, but this one was a true masterpiece. Because of all the amazing moves played in this game, some already call it "The Game Of The Year". In this game, Rapport really shows all of his attacking skills and beats his opponet with the black pieces. The game was played in UZchess cup 2025.

The game was played against Praggnanandhaa, a famous Indian Grandmaster, who is currently #1 in India. Born in 2005, he became an international master at the age of 10 and a grandmaster by the age of 12, making him one of the youngest grandmasters in history. Pragg gained international fame after defeating world-class players, including Magnus Carlsen, in major tournaments. He is known for his calm and strategic style of play, as well as his deep understanding of the game. In 2023, he reached the finals of the FIDE World Cup, becoming the youngest Indian ever to do so. His achievements have inspired a new generation of chess players in India and around the world.
