Tactics training: 2022 Chess.com Daily Chess Championship - Round 4
2022 Daily Chess Championship - Round 4
Good Morning Chess Players!
Only 28 of the 33,633 players remain in the competition for the 2022 Daily Championship. This time I decided to use the built-in debut book and unfortunately did not do well at it. In many games, the positions I got after the start of the game did not give me a chance to win. Even when playing white, I rarely managed to get even a slight advantage.
And the first time I slept through my move. In two games I did not manage to make a move in 24 hours and lost them on time. With both players with whom I lost a point in this way, I was able to win the rematch game. On the other hand, exceeding the time limit meant that in the remaining games I made moves practically immediately, making the subsequent games worse. So I lost my chance to be promoted to the final (just 3 players) irretrievably.
As usual, when playing daily games, many interesting combinations arise. I have collected them in this post. The difficulty level of the tasks varies greatly. I didn't sort them from easiest to hardest.
Of course you can share your opinion in comments section and inform how many puzzles you have managed to solve.
