2018 Chess.com Championship

As the new year starts, I am beginning to look to challenge myself with new chess games and goals. The 2018 Chess.com Chess Championship is starting tomorrow and I am quite excited to see what this is all about.  Does anyone have any tips on how to get into the higher ranks of the championship. I hope that everyone has a great new year and that everyone joins the championship.
