Positional Play

So  i am really very sorry for not uploading any chess blog for like half year i did not as i was not liking chess.com much but now I am feeling good again .

I think you have heard this quote earlier but did you ever thought why are chess player called artists ?

See this position the Knight was on g6 but now it is on d6 controlling the center and blocking the d file.

This games was played between Naiditsch-Svidler and Svidler this is awesome maneuver in the game. 

Is this maneuver not art ?

Yes this is why chess players are artists  but artists  are not chess players.

In chess we can do many things like this and all this happen in a position in the middlegame where you have to think and play positionally .

This is just the part 1 and the definition of positional chess.
