More pieces versus more powerful pieces

More pieces versus more powerful pieces

Recently, I was involved in a game where my opponent had both bishops. I had one rook. When this position came to be. I thought I had the advantage. I was ill-advised. Due to the massive power the bishops had to be able to occupy all diagonals. I quickly lost two pawns. I ended up defeating them in the end but only because my opponent blundered and allowed checkmate in one. In conclusion, I have realized that more pieces can outmaneuver and overpower the more powerful pieces, such as a queen versus two bishops and a knight. This will change my mindset in the middle game to not make trades such as knight and bishop for rook and pawn. Thank you for reading, and have a nice day.
