Why the Ruy Lopez is superior to the Italian

 Recently I have begun to play Ruy Lopez as opposed to Italian. This has caused me to gain 100 rating points in two days and have a 13/16 win ratio as white. Ruy Lopez is a better opening because it will cause confusion and panic in low-leveled players. It will cause most of them to focus on unpinning their knight from the king weakening their pawn structure and development. Also, it can cause doubled pawns which will also weaken their pawn structure. Also, most low-leveled players have not learned the correct moves to this opening, causing you to have an early advantage. With the Italian, most low-leveled players will know the theory so the opening will be more equal and cause more draws. These reasons are why I switched to Ruy Lopez.
