Chess Training Plan
The first part of my training plan is to play fifty slow games (25 as white and 25 as black) and record them in a chess database. In addition to simply spotting my errors and blunders, this will allow me to choose an opening and a defense to study that suits my play style.
Once I've played and studied my fifty games and have selected a preferred opening and defense, I should then spend and an hour a day solving tactics exercises, at least a half hour a day studying my chosen openings and defenses, and at least a half hour studying endgame techniques. And each day I should be playing at least two slow games of chess.
