The Italian game
Hey everyone, its me wonkergs again Sorry for not streaming lately but I havnt had the time because of school study but im gonna do it sometime this week hopefully but thats not why im here, the italian game or the quite game is a very tame and fun opening to play I have played this opening for the last 50 games on my stream with the grind to 1100 as white and I have won 40 games with it which is a good percentage of win to lose ratio, if you ask any titled player they might argue there are better openings like the slav or the London but at a beginner to intermediate player level this is a good opening for you.
this opening has a lot of different positions because of the different moves but it mostly focuses on control of the centre and getting a slight positional advantage with white usually with being up 1 pawn or having complete control of the centre with the bishops, knights and pawns.
I recommend the Italian for club level players because I'm a club level player and after using this opening I have been undefeated convincingly.
