Alright sorry about that the topic about this blog is somebody that anybody who follows chess even the slightest should and probably will know about Vishy Anand this guy is absolute legend like most chess players would retire at his age he is 56 years old and the best players in top 100 is avg 31 years old he is #13 and he is still 56 years and another great thing about this is that he played in the Tata Steel Chess after 6 years which was great as he was so close to winning and got second place in the rapid title. Also shoutout to Nihal Sarin great performance and he is the person that won the title. Now chess is a sport that very young people can play at the top level when you get older it starts going away in most sports yes young people can play but not that high for example IM Faustino Oro in a recent clash between Levon Aronian in the World Blitz 2025 Oro was the favorite. But as you get older especially in forms like rapid and blitz it gets harder for you to compete for example GM Vasyl Ivanchuck he is 56 year old and he is WAY lower the Vishy and he is not even a top 100 player therefore as of right now he is 116 now at his peak he was No.2 so this proves that the older you get even in the game of chess were all you have to do is sit and press the clock it is hard to maintain. Now even though almost the same exact age Vishy Anand is doing a amazing job for his age as World.13 and has not gotten much away from his peak which was World.1 alright guys hands of to the legend this is your new blogger signing out.
