My Beginner Thought Process, Game 1

Going to start posting games and my thought process so I can look back on them later as I learn more and remember what I was thinking versus what I should have been thinking. Posted the below game in a forum post asking for analysis but think I will hold off asking for more anlaysis on games until I learn some of the basics. The game below is 3 day back and forth chess. It is unrated and so am I at this point.
