The Big 4

The 2025 Big 4 Round Robin is underway. I posted Round 1 about a week ago (should go check that out), and now I have gotten Round 2 onto the website. The games are pretty good, though they are shorter than last week's games. Shorter but greater.

Rudy Tillmann still dominates the tournament, as I expected. (Wait until you see his Elo)

These are the games from Round 2:

So after winning both of those games, Rudy has a new Elo of 2304. He is the first in UNational history to break 2300 UNational Elo. So here are the standings after Round 2:

1. Rudy Tillmann (2304) 4-0

2. Selena Hartfeld (2031) 2-2

3. Brody Tillmann (2013) 1-3

4. Raimond Reece (1997) 1-3

I think Rudy has started the downfall of Raimond Reece. Raimond's dominating reign ended when Rudy Tillmann beat him for the first time back in March. Since then, Raimond has started losing more and more games.

Raimond's current 12 month record is 109-43. This doesn't highlight his entire career, so you know. His record (12 months) against Rudy is 0-19. Most of those losses are from Rudy.

One more thing. I think Rudy is going to be completely reigning UNational for a while. Like I said last time, he is predicted to reach 3000 UNational Elo (~2500 FIDE) before his career starts to end. Even then, I think he can be growing afterwards too. Who knows?
