"I'm gonna relax with a 1 0 game!" said no one ever.

Of all the time controls I've played, 1 0 is by far the most stressful. Not only do you have to beat your opponent, you also have to beat the time and computer lag. And you face the blundering part of yourself, too.

I work hard to get an advantage and it vanishes due to time constraints. How frustrating.
So what's my point? If you want to finish your opponent off, make sure to KO him in the opening:
