Hi friends! Lately I've been ruminating on a potential idea which could help us improve as a group and also have a little fun together. However I'd very much appreciate your input and thoughts on this idea to see if it's even feasible and, if so, how to improve on it.

I'm sure you're all familiar with the daily puzzles on Chess.com in one way or another and maybe you've even tried a puzzle or two. Personally I think they can be both really fun and also very instructional, so I thought it could be worth considering the idea of organizing something similar here for us to discuss and have fun with among ourselves. An idea would be to have a rotation of volunteers who post a puzzle of their choice each week or so, covering whatever topic they want. These puzzles could be anything from personally made ones, puzzles made by others, or, an interesting thought if possible, excerpts from your own games. This way I hope we can have a good time both learning and having fun while discussing the puzzles and I also believe having the games organized here would also serve as decent motivation, which is only better!

Optimally if this were to work out we could have a separate section on the forums for it, as opposed to the current structure where everything is in thrown into the same place, but I'm not entirely sure if that's even possible. If all else fails I guess we could at least try keeping it in a separate thread, such as this one, to keep from cluttering up the rest of the forums.

So yeah, what do you think? Think it's workable or do we send the idea to the moon?

((Also I intended to provide a sample position that'd be interesting, but simplistic enough to save any headaches, to demonstrate the idea, but Chess.com's goofing with me, so I'll post it below as a response to this post instead.))
