I retract my previous enthusiasm for continuing. I think it's hard to expect people to continue when cheating is clearly prevelant and defacto unmonitored. It's still up to the admin, but I have to admit when I was wrong
JamesAgadir // It was not a cheat.. God forbid I defeat a 2000 rated player? I defeated 2 CMs and 1 FM titled players OTB... I am improving OTB and offline.. I rarely come online since time issues.. // Why do I have a hard time believing that? That best I've gotten in OTB is a draw against an NM
I was a member of the official cheat detection club when that was a thing. They're very serious about their procedures and have techniques to catch even intelligent cheats. I trust their process because it's 99% accurate
If it is a mistake then you'll be able to appeal and get your Serepheon account back (not create a new account). At which point I'll retract what I said and apologize, I'd gladly send you a photo of my handwritten apology if it happens
@Serepheon I'm not going to argue with you. We can both see the the big red cross on your account and the "This account has been closed for violating our Fair Play Policy.". If your Serepheon account is restored after the appeal, then I'll retract my comment and request. Otherwise I'm going to trust the pros who banned you
We could just end the league. But organizing a three way group with Pinoy, the Troupe and the loser's bracket winners like planned wouldn't be complicated (four way if we add Rook and Rollers). We'd just need a neutral arbiter to determine forfeit wins/draws
Oh wow. I'd suppose the best solution is for the other admins to choose how the league continues. Seems hard to justify Asteroid destroyer's continued participation given one of their boards was a cheat which would likely have impacted their results
Otherwise we have 2 results and just need to work out the loser's bracket outcome. That's leave us with 3 teams that haven't be knocked out
