For tournaments starting in 2026, we are implementing a "Grand Prix" (GP) points system. This will be almost the same as the GP system that we used in 2024, with the addition of a "Bonus Points" feature. The objective of this system is to credit players for both participation and performance in our club tournaments over a one-year period. Hexad 7 is now open for sign-up! This tournament is a double round-robin in which six players play each other twice, once with each color. This is the first Hexad that we have offered since early 2024. This tournament is an "Open Ratings" tournament. Any club member in good standing who has completed at least one Quad is eligible to join, regardless of rating. For more information and to sign up, go to the Hexad 7 forum topic.

REMINDER: Most of North America will switch to Daylight Saving Time (DST) on March 8 at 2 AM. Clocks will move forward one hour. ("Spring forward, fall back"). Remember this when scheduling your games if you use UTC, as the time offset relative to UTC will change. For example, EST is currently UTC minus 5 hours. During DST, EDT will be UTC minus 4 hours.
