I got back into chess and got my rating up to 1700.. then I binged on king hunting and my rating dropped. Played an over the board tournament in my area back in January. 3 games. Beat a FIDE rating 1670, lost to a FIDE rating of 1900 and 1692. The funny thing about chess... my interest goes in binges. I'll get active into chess again for about 2-3 months, then I lose interest and won't return to it for a couple years. I figure it's not something I want to continually study to get good at

Wow, just logged on for the first time in years. It's amazing how much you forget. I don't remember how to read chess notations, don't remember the ratings numbers (does a higher number mean I'm good or bad?) And I don't remember any of the openings that I learned years ago. So strange how quickly this stuff leaves you.

@RECONFAN yea, it was the post about the guys gf who died. I was trying to figure out how she died and some whitebelt put me on blast. Some mod banned me simply for not being sympathetic. My name on there is Ageofempires2, had over 10k posts gone all due to some white belt putting me on blast lol.

I just got banned on Sherdog. I guess when someone wants pity on the internet because someone they know died, it's a bannable offense to ask why the hell they didn't post what they died from. 10k+ posts on the account too. Not even dubs. Epic.
