Being one of Garry Kasparov's favourite weapons, the Scotch is easy to learn; yet there are so many complicated lines and traps that can arise from the Scotch that it can sometimes catch the opponent off guard. White always has a solid position in the scotch with more space and good development.

We have many team matches and vote chess games in progress, and can currently boast to be the 39th best team at vote chess. The time limit varies to suit more people. We also play a daily 10 minute game for those who like the thrill of vote chess blitz.
